I offer hula dance portraiture focused on ancient hula kahiko. I welcome the opportunity to work with any dancer who is interested in celebrating and preserving the traditions and culture of hula. I photograph dancers in traditional kahiko outfits that I have made by hand using natural and traditional materials. I hold great respect for timeless traditions, so please make sure your Kumu Hula approves of your participation in these photographs.
If you are interested in being photographed similar to the photos you see in my gallery and are an active student in a traditional hula halau, please contact me for more information.
I am also open to licensing these images for use in advertising, websites, marketing, and promotional brochures. My photographs have been featured in multiple publications such as Starwood Hotel’s Mailani magazine. If you are looking to use an image like what you see on my site please let me know. I have literally thousands of photos we can review together.
